landscapes of the North West, white stretches of
sandy beaches and secluded hill lochans, vast
heather clad moors, huge spaces with little
chance of meeting another soul; ...
...there is something for everybody, whether you
want to just relax end enjoy the sound of
silence or be energetic and explore the
incredible possibilities offered by all kinds of
paths or cycle routes for all abilities.
In Inverness itself there are cinemas, a
theatre, many restaurants and pubs.
You can spend some pleasant time walking along
the river Ness. There is a bustling shopping
centre where many of the local crafts can be
found. |
If you want a break from your car there are many
tours and cruises. Hiring a car is easy.
There is an Aquadome and Sports Centre and four golf courses. Pony trekking
is another rewarding way of exploring the
countryside.
There are also many fine top class salmon rivers
and lochs with boats for hire.

of the town, will be able to give you all kinds
